"Working together to support continuous improvement in the quality and performance of Work Based Learning in Hertfordshire"

The Hertfordshire Provider Network has worked effectively to develop a partnership of 26 training providers, including 4 Colleges, across Hertfordshire who offer Work Based Learning programmes including Apprenticeships, Advanced Apprenticeships and Entry to Employment (e2e).

By forging strong partnership links with the LSC, Connexions, Hertfordshire County Council, Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce and a range of other agencies, we are able to offer young people an extensive and rewarding programme of learning opportunities, tailored to their needs and those of local employers and the community.

By working collaboratively, the network aims to:

• Establish a shared vision for the future development of WBL across all providers
• Raise framework achievement rates to at or above local, regional and national success rates
• Raise the Hertfordshire success rate profile in the Eastern Region
• Enable providers to aspire to good and outstanding provision
• Provide an appropriate mix of provision to meet the requirements of the 7 Strategic Area Planning Groups (SAPGs) and Hertfordshire's employers
• Establish relationships built on trust, honesty, transparency and collaboration
