After 4 years as Chair of the Suffolk Provider Network Group Jane Vincent has announced that she is standing down after the summer meeting due to be held at Lowestoft College on 26th June 2008.
In her time in the Chair she has been a true advocate of Work Based Learning and acted as the Network representative or ensured that the Network has been represented at a wide range of events and meetings so that WBL is properly recognised across the county and beyond. She has also ensured that a number of initiatives have been followed through such as WBL DVDs and Leaflets, Apprentice Champions, training events for providers and raised issues such as expected employer contributions and marketing of Apprenticeships with LSC colleagues at local and regional level.
She has been an active member of the Regional Chairs Group too. Julie Mills (YMCA Stowmarket) is also standing down as Vice-Chair after 2 years.
